Comprehensive Eye Exam

Is it time for your yearly eye exam? Having your yearly exam each year, is just as important as having your annual exam by your local primary care doctor. Our Indianapolis Eye Care Center performs a complete eye health exam as well as a variety of vision tests. At Dr. Amy Walden & Associates we use the latest technology available to us for your exam. This digital eye exam system is called CLARIFYE. With CLARIFYE you will have a digital more comprehensive understanding of your overall eye health. This system is extremely precise and very fast as well. It will be able to prescribe your day and night vision prescription needs. All eye diseases will be detected, while also being able to detect high blood pressure and diabetes. After your exam, your Indianapolis eye doctor will be able to share with you images, videos, and even vision simulations.

Eye Glass Fittings

Once you have been given your prescription, our Indianapolis eye doctors and technicians will assist you in selecting the perfect glasses that fit your lifestyle, occupation, and personal taste. We offer many of the finest brands in the Indianapolis and Noblesville area. Whatever your budget may be, we have a brand that will work for you. Some of the popular brands that we offer are Coach, Ray-Ban, Gucci, Vera Bradley, Nike, Calvin Klein, Candies and many more. Our eye center is up to date on the latest trends and styles in the industry to ensure our Indianapolis patients have a wide selection to choose from. We have all types of frames for both men and women and offer a variety of colors and styles for your child to pick from to get them excited about wearing their glasses each day.

Contact Lens Fittings

During your appointment, your doctor will go over your medical history and discuss any eye problems you may be experiencing to prep you for your new contact lenses. Everyone has a unique shape to their eye; and what fits on one person’s eyes may not fit the same for another person. Your doctor will determine the best fit, by measuring the curvature of the eye, the diameter of your iris, the curvature of the cornea, and size of the pupil. All of these tests will determine the best type of lens to match your prescription. We offer a variety of contact lens to choose from, with each one offering a different wear length. It is very important to follow the instructions so you do not damage your eyes and also the contact lens themselves.
